USB 3.0控制器晶片設計領導廠商威鋒電子宣布，推出適用於USB Type-C傳輸線的VL150 Electronic Marker（E-Marker）解決方案。USB Type-C是一種全新傳輸線，其規格遵循來自於技術領先的USB成員公司包括Apple，Google，Intel以及其他業界成員協作制定的規格標準。

威鋒電子產品副總許錦松表示，USB Type-C能做到成為實用且真正通用的連接器，且將會適用於手機、平板電腦、桌上型電腦/筆記型電腦、顯示器等以及無數的電子配件及週邊產品。帶有E-Marker的傳輸線，使用者能盡情地享受無縫式體驗。
